CBSE board exam 2023 date for Class 12, Class 10 yet to be announced, confirms official

CBSE board exam 2023 date Class 12, Class 10: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has not announced board exam date sheets for the Class 10 and Class 12, confirmed CBSE PRO Rama Sharma. Earlier in October, the board had announced the practical exam dates for the winter-bound states.

"No official notification has been issued for Class 10, 12 Board examination date sheet yet," she said.

CBSE has already declared that it will hold single board exams in 2023, unlike in 2022 when the exams were held in two semesters or terms.

According to an official notification released earlier, the CBSE board exams for classes 10 and 12 shall start on 15th February 2023.

In a circular at the official website, CBSE announced that the project, internal assessment exams, and practical examinations will be conducted from January 1. However, the schools situated in winter-bound areas are expected to remain close. 

"The Practical Examinations/Project/Internal Assessments for winter-bound schools shall normally be conducted from 15th November to 14th December every year," accoding to a circular released by the board.

"To ensure fair and just assessment, Practical Examinations/Project Assessments should invariably be conducted in two or three sessions in a day if the number of students is more than 20. In the case of Fine Arts, examination/assessment shall invariably be conducted in two sessions in respect of each student," the circular added.

Meanwhile, CBSE has published sample question papers for various subjects on its official website-- cbseacademic.nic.in.
