The CBSE class 10 English exam is scheduled to take place on May 6, 2021. Candidates and their parents are often worried that language group papers might not be as high scoring for the students as the Science subjects. However, if the students prepare strategically for the exams, then scoring high marks in English is not that difficult after all.
The CBSE has also deleted some topics for the class 10 board exams which will provide some respite for the students. Here is a list of deleted topics for the CBSE class 10 English exam:

2) Clauses: Noun, Adverb, Relative
3) Prepositions
From 'First Flight'
1) How to Tell Wild Animals
2) Trees
3) Fog
4) Mijbil the Otter
5) For Anne Gregory
From 'Footprints without Feet' (Supplementary reader for class 10)
1) The Midnight Visitor
2) A Question of Trust
3) The Book That Saved the Earth
The CBSE class 10 students appearing for the board exams can also access the deleted topics for the English exam by logging into cbseacademic.nic.in.
The CBSE class 10 candidates can achieve high scores in English by following some simple tips. The preparation tips are as follows:
1) Practice grammar regularly - The grammar portion is very scoring in the CBSE class 10 board examination. If a candidate practices grammar regularly then the exercise will make him/her confident for the examination. Practicing comprehension passages will also help the candidates to perform better as well as time management.
2) Read the literature texts regularly - The literature texts should be read by the candidate on a regular basis. This will help in making the candidate completely acquainted with the texts. As a result, the candidates will be able to answer any question from any part of the texts.
3) Sample papers - Solving sample papers will also help the candidates to perform better in the CBSE class 10 exams.
If a candidate keeps all these things in mind, then a good score in the language group also is not difficult.
The CBSE class 10 exams are scheduled to commence from May 4, 2021 and will continue till June 7, 2021. English exam is slated to take place on May 6, 2021.
