BSE Odisha 10th Result 2020 declared on bseodisha.nic.in, orissaresults.nic.in: Here is how to check

BSE Odisha Board 10th Result 2020: The Board of Secondary Education has declared BSE Odisha Board 10th Result 2020. Students can check their BSE Odisha Board 10th Result 2020 on official website bseodisha.nic.in and orissaresults.nic.in. This year, a total of 5.6 lakh students appeared in class 10 Odisha BSE board examinations this year. The exams had ended on March 2 this year. Though the examination was not affected by the COVID-19 lockdown, the evaluation had to be postponed. 

The students are required to score at least 33 percent marks in every subject and a minimum of 20 percent as aggregate to clear the Odisha board's Class 10 exams. In order to secure first division grade, a student needs to score over 60 percent marks overall.

The board has announced that top 100 students this year will get scholarship of Rs 5,000 under the Chief Minister’s Mukhyamantri Medhabruti Puraskar Yojana. The scheme was launched last year and the students will be selected by the government from each block and municipal corporation. 

Students who have not cleared the exam can opt to appear for the supplementary or compartment exam, the date for which will be announced by the Odisha board after the results. 

In 2019, around 6 lakh students appeared for the Odisha BSE exams. The overall passing percentage in Odisha 10th result was 70.78% with 3.97 lakh (3,97,125) students passing the exam last year. A total of 2,05,470 female students had cleared the exams, while 1,91,655 boys had passed.
