AP Inter exams 2021 POSTPONED, no update on AP SSC exams 2021 — new dates for AP 1st and 2nd year to be announced later

AP Inter exam 2021: After reiterating to conduct the AP Inter exams 2021 time and again, the Andhra Pradesh Board of Intermediate Education (APBIE) had finally decided to postpone the Inter exams. This was confirmed by AP Education Department, which released statement postponing the AP Inter exams. The exams were scheduled to begin from May 5.

This comes amid surging cases of Covid 19 being detected on daily basis. Earlier the board had said it will go ahead with the scheduled date to conduct AP Inter exams.  

Andhra Pradesh Education Minister A Suresh said the decision had been taken based on suggestion by AP High Court.  

Earlier on Saturday, Andhra Pradesh High Court had asked the state government to reconsider its decision and postpone the exam in the view of the pandemic. AP Inter students have also demanded to postponed the exams. “Respecting the court’s suggestion, we have decided to postpone intermediate examinations. A fresh schedule for the AP inter exams will be announced once the situation becomes normal,’ said AP Education Minister A Suresh.  

Earlier, sticking to conduct on AP Inter exam 2021 on scheduled date, the state government had argued that delaying the exams would rather do more harm than good for the students.  

Many students and parents have raised objection and demanded to postpone exam when AP Inter admit card was released. Nearly, 10 lakh students are set to appear in AP Inter Exam 2021
