Admission in State Medical Colleges / Universities / Institutions / private
medical colleges for seats other than 15% All India Quota:
i. Admission under State Quota Seats shall be subject to reservation policy and eligibility criteria prevailing in the State/Union Territory as notified by the respective State/Union Territory from time to time.

ii. The reservation of the seats in medical colleges for respective categories shall be as per applicable laws prevailing in the State/Union Territory concerned.

iii. Admission to Undergraduate Medical Courses in Private Medical Colleges shall be subject to policies of the Government of India/State/Union Territory

NEET UG 2022: Admissions

Candidates must note that the benefit of reservation will be given to them subject to verification of documents. If it is discovered at any stage that a candidate has used a false/fake/incorrect document, or has furnished false, incorrect, or incomplete information, in order to avail the benefit of reservation, then such a candidate shall be excluded from all admission processes. In case such a candidate has already been given admission, the admission shall stand cancelled.

•   The disability centres in the MCC chapter that “ for participating in the MCC counselling, the disability certificate uploaded in MCC Information Bulletin may be referred which must be issued by one of the 15 designated disability issuing certificate boards ”

NEET Answer Key 2022: Update 

All Candidates appearing in NEET (UG) - 2022 must regularly check updates on the website of NTA (https://neet.nta.nic.in/); MoH&FW (https://www.mohfw.gov.in/); AYUSH Ministry (www.ayush.gov.in); DGHS (https://dghs.gov.in/content/1344_1_MedicalEducation.aspx ); Medical Counselling Committee (https://mcc.nic.in/UGCounselling/); (Admission Central Counselling Committee of Ministry of AYUSH) https://aaccc.gov.in/aacccug/home/homepage and other concerned Authorities of participating States/Universities/Institutions, till the conclusion of the final round of Counselling.

Step 2: Click on the NEET official answer key 2022 direct link.
Step 3: NTA NEET answer keys will appear on the screen.
Step 4: Look for the NEET answer key as per your NEET 2022 question paper code.
Step 5: Match the responses in the NEET key 2022 with the responses submitted.
Step 6: Download and save the answer key for future use.

“The National Testing Agency will upload the Provisional Answer Keys, Scanned Images of OMR Answer Sheet and Recorded Responses for NEET (UG) – 2022 on the website https://neet.nta.nic.in/ for candidates to challenge by 30th of August 2022”, reads the official notification.

NTA, while announcing the answer key release date, confirmed that NEET 2022 result will be declared on or before September 7. 

NEET UG 2022: Marks for correct answers 

Candidates are awarded 4 marks for correct answers. One mark is deducted for incorrect answers. No mark is awarded or deducted for questions not attempted.

• Correct answer or the most appropriate answer: Four marks (+4)
• Any incorrect option marked: Minus one mark (-1).
• Unanswered/Marked for Review: No mark (0)
