JEE Mains 2023 Result: How to calculate marks
- To calculate marks, students need to count the total number of correct answers and the total number of incorrect answers.
- JEE Main marks = Total correct questions X 4 – Total number of incorrect questions.
- For example, out of the total 75 questions (25 each in Physics, Chemistry and Maths), you have 35 correct and 15 wrong answers.
How to calculate Percentile for JEE Mains Result
The percentile calculates required details like the raw score of all the candidates as well as the total number of candidates who have appeared in one particular slot.
The normalization formula is available on the website jeemain.nta.nic.in.
However, students may please note that since they do not have access to the total number of students as well as the raw score information of others, they cannot estimate their NTA score or percentile.
The same, however, would be computed and shared by NTA once the scorecard is released.
