JEE Main results 2023 highlights: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the results for Joint Entrance Exam (Main) 2023, session 2 exam soon. As per the official website of JEE Main, the date for the JEE Main result is to be announced yet.
The JEE Main Session 2 exam was conducted on April 6, 8, 10, 11, 12, 13, and 15, 2023. Students who took the JEE Main 2023 exam are recommended to visit the National Testing Agency (NTA) JEE website at jeemain.nta.nic.in.
Along with session 2 results, NTA will also release JEE Main cut-off marks for appearing in IIT JEE Advanced, as well as candidates' all-India rankings. All-India toppers' names will also be announced.
According to prior trends, NTA will release JEE Mains results for paper 1 (BE/BTech) first, followed by paper 2.

Method of resolving ties Tie between candidates obtaining equal Total NTA scores in Paper 1:
B.E./B.Tech will be resolved in the following manner in descending order:
1. NTA score in Mathematics, followed by
2. NTA score in Physics, followed by
3. NTA score in Chemistry, followed by
4. Candidate with less proportion of a number of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in all the subjects in the Test, followed by
5. Candidate with less proportion of a number of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in Mathematics in the Test, followed by
6. Candidate with less proportion of a number of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in Physics in the Test, followed by
7. Candidate with less proportion of a number of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in Chemistry in the Test followed by
8. Older in Age followed by
9. Application Number in ascending order
JEE Main result 2023 live updates: What is the paper 1 and paper 2?
JEE Main comprises two papers:
-Paper 1 is conducted for admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programs (B.E/B.Tech.) at NITs, IIITs, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), and Institutions/Universities funded/recognized by participating State Governments.
-JEE (Main) is also an eligibility test for JEE (Advanced), which is conducted for admission to IITs.
-Paper 2 is conducted for admission to B. Arch and B. Planning courses in the country.

IIT Guwahati will accept online applications for JEE Advanced from April 30 to May 7 at https://jeeadv.ac.in/. Candidates who score the same as or higher than the cut-off mark in JEE Main are eligible to apply for IIT JEE Advanced.

JEE Main 2023 results: How to download results through the Umang app
JEE Main 2023, session 2 results will also be released on the Unified Mobile Application for New-Age Governance (UMANG) application. Candidates can download the results easily through their smartphones:
Step 1: Download the Umang App through the Play Store
Step 2: Complete the registration process by adding in details like mobile number and OTP
Step 3: The candidate will be able to see the JEE Main 2023 Session 2 link on the homepage of the Umang App
Step 4: Add in the application number and birth date
Step 5: The candidate will be able to view and download the result.

Step 1: Visit jeemain.nta.nic.in, the official website.
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the JEE Main Session 2 result link.
Step 3: A new window will open, enter your Application No. and password to access the result.
Step 4: The page will show your JEE Main Session 2 result for 2023.
Step 5: Download the document and print a copy for your future records.
