GATE 2023 Result Date, Download: The Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur (IIT Kanpur) released the GATE 2023 result today. GATE 2023 scorecard will remain valid for three years from the date of announcement of results. The IIT uses a normalization method to convert the raw score obtained by candidates to GATE scores; based on which the results are declared.

- GATE marks will be calculated out of 100 for 65 questions
- Candidates will be rewarded with either 1 or 2 marks on each correct answer
- On every incorrect answer, there will be a deduction of 1/3 or 2/3 marks
- For Numerical Answer Type (NAT) & Multiple-choice questions (MCQs), there will be no deduction of marks.
