Jharkhand government's scheme targets to provide Rs 1,000 monthly to 50 lakh women. Jharkhand Mukhya Mantri Maiyya Samman Yojana: The Hemant Soren-led Jharkhand government recently launched the 'Mukhya Mantri Maiyya Samman Yojana.' The scheme is to provide financial assistance to a total of 50 lakh women in the state. Under this scheme, Rs 1,000 each per month will be given to all eligible women. The state government is setting up camps in all the districts to identify beneficiaries of this scheme. A government portal has also been prepared for the implementation and dissemination of information about the Yojana, on which applications have started being uploaded from August 3. Verification of applications will be done through the portal.


Manoj Kumar, secretary of Jharkhand's Women, Child Development and Social Security Department, said that this scheme is the government's flagship scheme, for which the enrolment campaign of eligible women has been started so that women beneficiaries can receive benefits quickly and easily. The government has ordered welfare officers and child development project officers in the state to continuously monitor and supervise the camps set up to help beneficiaries get registered on the online portal.

All applications that have been received under this Yojana will be verified through the portal only, said the government. Which women are eligible to receive the benefits:
Manoj said that the benefit of Mukhya Mantri Mainya Samman Yojana will be available to women between 21 to 50 years of age who are not taking benefits of any other pension scheme. 

 

Which documents are necessary to enroll in the Yojana?
These documents will be necessary; Aadhar card, ration card, EPIC card, Aadhar linked bank account, and it is necessary to be a resident of Jharkhand. Application forms are available online, and applications can also be submitted through the portal from August 21.
