Petrol and diesel price latest news update: Union Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Hardeep Singh Puri - who returned to the role in the Narendra Modi 3.0 government - said on Tuesday that the Centre is trying to keep petrol and diesel in the affordable range. Stating that a host of reforms have been introduced in the domestic petroleum space, Puri said that the central government will try to bring both fuels under the ambit of Goods and Services Tax (GST).
