Maximum User Fee-Collecting Toll Plaza List: Did you know that only half of the 20 top user fee-collecting toll plazas in India account for Rs 13,988.5 crore in toll collections in five years? Yes. As per official data provided by the Road Transport and Highways Ministry in the Rajya Sabha, the 10 toll stops - two located each in Gujarat, UP, and Rajasthan, and one each in West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Bihar, and Haryana - collected a sum of Rs 3,316.6 crore in FY24 alone.

Top User Fee-Collecting NH Toll Plazas in India | At the 10th position is the Sasaram toll plaza in Bihar located on the Varanasi-Aurangabad stretch of National Highway 2.
The Sasaram toll stop accounted for collections of Rs 1,071.4 during the five-year period, with Rs 237.6 crore collected in FY23 and Rs 238 crore the year before, according to the data.

User-fee collections to the tune of Rs 472.7 crore were recorded at the plaza in FY24, and Rs 455.9 crore in the previous year.
