NCCF announces Tomato price cut; set to sell at Rs 60/kg from July 29

In a move to provide significant cost relief to consumers, the National Cooperative Consumers' Federation of India Limited (NCCF) has announced that it will retail tomatoes at Rs 60 per kg starting from July 29, 2024.
This measure aims to reduce retail prices in the Delhi NCR region, offering substantial relief to consumers amidst rising food prices.
The NCCF will sell tomatoes at a reduced price at various strategic locations across Delhi and NCR, including Krishi Bhawan, CGO Complex, Lodhi Colony, Hauz Khas Head Office, Parliament Street, INA Market, Mandi House, Kailash Colony, I.T.O, South Extension, Moti Nagar, Dwarka, Noida Sector 14 and Sector 76, Rohini, and Gurugram.
The Managing Director of NCCF confirmed that the mega sale will commence on Monday, July 29, and will expand to other locations in Delhi NCR in the coming days.
This initiative underscores NCCF's commitment to supporting consumers and stabilizing the market.
With this initiative, NCCF aims to make tomatoes more affordable for consumers in the region, providing a much-needed respite from rising food prices. Consumers are encouraged to take advantage of this offer and purchase tomatoes at the reduced price from the designated locations.
