LPG Price Update: Indian Oil cut commercial cylinder prices by Rs 69.50; domestic rates unchanged

LPG Price Update Today, June 1, 2024: State-run oil marketing companies (OMCs), Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (IOCL) announced a reduction in the price of commercial LPG gas cylinders with effect from June 1. In the Delhi region, the price has been decreased by Rs 69.50, bringing the retail price to Rs 1,676.

This price adjustment provides some relief for businesses amid ongoing economic challenges. The previous rate adjustment was a reduction of Rs 19 on May 1, 2024.

According to Indian Oil, the prices of Indane Gas LPG cylinders (19-kilogram) as of June 1, 2024, in major metropolitan cities are as follows: Delhi - Rs 1,676, Kolkata - Rs 1,787, Mumbai - Rs 1,629, and Chennai - Rs 1,840.

However, the company has not extended any relief to domestic LPG gas cylinders.
