Government may extend anti-dumping duty on Aniline imports from China
The investigation covers the period from April 2023 to March 2024.
The Directorate General of Trade Remedies (DGTR) has initiated a review investigation into the anti-dumping duty (ADD) on aniline imports from China, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry said on September 24, 2024.
This measure comes after Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers & Chemicals (GNFC) filed a petition, arguing that lifting the duty would lead to increased dumping.
The investigation covers the period from April 2023 to March 2024. DGTR has sought responses from all stakeholders within a week.
The current duty is set to expire on July 28, 2025.
