SpiceJets Darbhanga-Delhi flight evacuated after bomb threat, later declared hoax

A SpiceJet flight from Darbhanga to Delhi was grounded and passengers were deboarded following a bomb threat today. However, after a thorough search, the threat was declared a hoax.

The Darbhanga-Delhi flight was scheduled to depart from Darbhanga Airport when authorities received a bomb threat.

As a precautionary measure, passengers were immediately evacuated, and security personnel conducted a thorough search of the aircraft.

Amit Kumar, SDPO, Sadar, Darbhanga, confirmed that the bomb threat on SpiceJet's Darbhanga-Delhi flight was investigated and found to be false. "We received information about a potential bomb on the Darbhanga-Delhi SpiceJet flight, but after a thorough investigation, it was declared a hoax," Kumar stated.

The incident caused a brief delay, but all flights from Darbhanga to Delhi resumed operations normally after the security clearance.
