Go First cancels flights till June 9 due to operational issues

Go First today (June 6) announced that it had cancelled all its flights till June 9 because of 'operational reasons'. The airline in a statement said that a full refund would be issued to the original mode of payment shortly. "We regret to inform that due to operational reasons, Go First flights scheduled till 09th June 2023 have been cancelled. We apologise for the inconvenience caused by the flight cancellations," the airline said in a statement today.
The airline further said that the passengers with tickets to the flights would get refunds. "A full refund will be issued to the original mode of payment shortly."

The decision came after the airlines executives reportedly informed the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) that it was ready to operate 152 daily flights once it started its operations.
"We acknowledge the flight cancellations might have disrupted your travel plans and we are committed to providing all the assistance we can, the airline's statement read.
Just a few days back, the interim resolution profession of the airline had submitted a six-month revival plan to the DGCA, informing it was ready to resume flight operations with 26 operational aircraft and 400 pilots on its rolls.
"As you are aware, the company has filed an application for immediate resolution and revival of operations. We will be able to resume bookings shortly. We thank you for your patience."
