What is this air show?
On the 91st Foundation Day of the Indian Air Force (IAF), an air show is being organised by the IAF at Prayagraj Sangam. For this, the Bamrauli Air Station has been declared a 'No Flying Zone'. No one is allowed to fly drones within this perimeter and action will be taken against those found violating it. ADM City, Madan Kumar, said that if anyone was found doing so without prior permission, their goods would be confiscated and action would be taken as per law.
Air Marshal RGK Kapoor said that more than 100 aircraft, including the Rafale fighter jet, will be part of this air show. He said that earlier, the air show used to be held in Hindon (Ghaziabad), where only people from New Delhi and its surroundings could see it. But this time, the Air Force was organising it in Prayagraj. He said that since the Sangam area is very large, a large number of people would be able to enjoy the air show.
