This strategic move not only solidifies Air India's foothold in the UK market but also underscores the robust economic and cultural ties between India and the UK. The airline's new service will operate 5 times a week, augmenting its flights to and from London Gatwick to a total of 17 weekly flights.

The chosen aircraft for this route is the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, renowned for its comfort and efficiency, offering 18 flat beds in Business class and 238 spacious seats in Economy.

Campbell Wilson, Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director of Air India, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, "We are thrilled to introduce convenient, non-stop flights connecting Bengaluru and London Gatwick. This new route addresses the escalating demand for travel between these pivotal business and leisure hubs, solidifying our dedication to expanding our global network."

Booking options for these flights are gradually becoming available today across all platforms, including Air India's official website (www.airindia.com), mobile app, as well as authorized travel agents and partners.

Currently, Air India links four other Indian cities - Ahmedabad, Amritsar, Goa, and Kochi - to London Gatwick. Furthermore, the airline operates 31 weekly flights to London Heathrow and 6 weekly flights to and from Birmingham.
