The airline is offering flight tickets starting from Rs 1,470 for domestic flights in economy class and from Rs 10,130 for business class tickets on domestic routes. The limited period sale will end at midnight on August 20, Sunday.
Air India is currently offering domestic and international flight tickets with hefty discounts as part of its limited-period “Fly Air India Sale”. The Tata Group-owned airline is offering flight tickets starting from Rs 1,470 for domestic flights in economy class and from Rs 10,130 for business class tickets on domestic routes.
The sale was launched by the airline on Thursday and it will end at midnight on August 20, Sunday.
Air India Offer on Domestic and International flights: Routes and travel period
Deals on Domestic Flights
Air India is promising discounts of up to 15 per cent for both economy and business class for all flights within India. However, the discount is only applicable for flights for the travel period between September 1 and October 31. Air India has clarified that the sale is on a first come first serve basis with limited tickets.
Deals on International Flights
Air India is also offering discounts on air tickets to and from regions like Europe, the UK, South East Asia, Gulf Countries, and Saudi Arabia for flights for travel period between September 15 and October 31.
Flights to neighbouring countries like Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal and Sri Lanka will also be on discount during the travel period of September 1 to October 31.
Travellers to Europe and the UK can get the highest discounts of up to 30 per cent on economy class tickets. Flight tickets for South East Asian countries will have a 10 per cent discount on both economy and business class tickets. Also, for Gulf Countries there will be a discount of 10 per cent for cabin classes. Flights to Saudi Arabia and SAARC countries will have a 15 per cent discount on both classes.
Additional benefits
Air India has stated that there will be additional special benefits on booking the tickets from Air India’s website including no convenience fees being charged on ticket purchase and double point collection on certain flights for Flying Returns members. The airline has also clarified that the special prices will not apply on group bookings.
The sale will be available through Air India’s app, website and even for tickets booked through travel agents. Other airlines in India had also recently launched discounted ticket prices as part of their Monsoon sale that ended in June and July.
