Air India Express launches Freedom Sale with fares starting at Rs 1947
The airline is offering discounted fares on routes including Delhi-Jaipur, Bengaluru-Goa, and Delhi-Gwalior, along with special fares across its network of 15 international and 32 domestic destinations.
Air India Express on Thursday (August 1, 2024) announced its "Freedom Sale" to mark 77 years of India's independence, offering fares starting at Rs 1,947. The sale is available for bookings until August 5 for travel until September 30, 2024, on both domestic and international routes.
The airline is offering discounted fares on routes including Delhi-Jaipur, Bengaluru-Goa, and Delhi-Gwalior, along with special fares across its network of 15 international and 32 domestic destinations.
Bookings on airindiaexpress.com provide access to Xpress Lite fares, which include the option to pre-book an additional 3 kg of cabin baggage at no extra cost and a discounted fee for check-in baggage at Rs 1,000 for 15 kg on domestic flights and Rs 1,300 for 20 kg on international flights.
Air India Express loyalty members receive exclusive discounts and can earn up to 8 per cent NeuCoins on the airline’s website. Additional discounts include up to 47 per cent off on Biz and Prime Seats, 'Gourmair' hot meals and beverages, and add-on packs. Special discounted fares are also available for students, senior citizens, SMEs, doctors, nurses, and armed force members and their dependents.
Xpress Biz fares are available on all new Air India Express Boeing 737-8 aircraft, providing a Business Class equivalent. The airline offers the option to upgrade to Biz seats, featuring a seat pitch of up to 58 inches.
With its rapid fleet expansion, Air India Express is adding nearly four new aircraft every month and has included Biz seats in over 30 new aircraft since its brand launch in October 2023.
