Zomato Takes on Google Pay and PhonePe with new UPI offering

Gurugram-based foodtech giant Zomato has partnered with ICICI Bank to offer UPI payment services, allowing users to make merchant and peer-to-peer payments. Flipkart is also working on its own UPI offering, aiming to reduce dependency on PhonePe and Google Pay.
