SEBI probes Eros International Media for financial misreporting

The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has restrained Eros International Media's Managing Director and CEO from holding any board positions or key managerial positions. The company, Eros Worldwide FZ and Eros Digital Private Ltd have also been banned from accessing the securities markets until further orders. SEBI has appointed a forensic auditor to investigate whether funds have been siphoned off from the company.
