Amazon duped millions on Prime subscription, alleges FTC lawsuit

The FTC has accused Amazon of tricking customers into buying expensive Prime memberships instead of the cheaper Prime Video subscription. The FTC alleges that Amazon's website design confuses customers and fails to clarify the enrollment process. Customers are redirected and encouraged to sign up for the more expensive Prime membership, even if they only want to watch Prime Video.
