Adani's New Trouble ! Orient Cement Terminates MoU With Adani Power To Set Up Unit In Maharashtra

It’s been nearly a month since the US-based Hindenburg Research published a report jolting one of India’s largest conglomerates. In the latest indication of its unending trouble, Orient Cement terminated its Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Adani Power on Wednesday to set up a cement grinding unit in Maharashtra. Moreover, the Adani group has halted its investment in a coal-to-polyvinyl chloride (PVC) plant in Mundra in the western Indian state of Gujarat.
