Data plans are still cheap as the telcos, Airtel, Reliance Jio, BSNL, and Vodafone, are continuing to wage war for supremacy and there seems to be no end to benefits they are willing to provide to users to either retain them or win them over from rivals. From more data, unlimited calls, SMS, to roaming, freebies are being rained on subscribers like there is no tomorrow. So, at the bottom of the spectrum, we take a look at 4 prepaid recharge plans under Rs 50:
Reliance Jio

BSNL has rolled out a very affordable plan worth all of Rs 19. However, the STV is restricted to Chennai and Tamil Nadu circles only. Amazingly, this plan is valid for 54 days from the day of activation. The plan is set to expire on October 11. Image source: Reuters
Vodafone has rolled out its Rs 47 prepaid plan to stay abreast of leaders Airtel and Reliance Jio. This plan is valid for 28 days, and provides 50 free SMS, and 500MB 3G/4G data and 125 minutes of calling.
