"With Intercity Legends, no matter where you are, you can order and relish legendary dishes like baked rosogollas from Kolkata, biryani from Hyderabad, Mysore Pak from Bengaluru, kebabs from Lucknow, butter chicken from Old Delhi, or pyaaz kachori from Jaipur," Zomato said in a blogpost.

"By leveraging Zomato’s vast network of restaurant partners and delivery partners, deep understanding of food technology and insights into what our customers love, legendary dishes will be delivered from across India to you, the very next day," it added.

Zomato said that all types of dishes have been tested in a lab to ensure the aroma, texture, and taste remain at the optimum level.

Zomato has also claimed safe transit during air travel and added that they are using reusable and tamper-proof containers to package the food.

Attesting to its ability to deliver food on time and properly, the Zomato said "Once you receive your order, you can microwave, air-fry, or pan-fry the food, just like any other dish out of the refrigerator."

Zomato said it will use air services for this feature.
