Zee Digital relaunches dittoTV app with pricing at Rs 20 per month
Zee Digital Convergence, the digital arm of Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd (ZEEL), has relaunched the dittoTV app on Tuesday.
"The digital entertainment space in India is at the cusp of a strong phase of growth. With the new avatar of dittoTV, we aim to change the media landscape to suit the evolving media consumption preferences of consumers," said Zee Entertainment Enterprises' managing director and chief executive officer Punit Goenka in a statement.
With this new form of the dittoTV app, the company promises to make television available to every Indian on all devices- phones, tablets, personal computers- with just Rs 20 per month.

The app in its new form will allow users to access more than 100 English, Hindi and regional-language channels comprising of general entertainment, sports, movies, news and lifestyle channels.
The company has tied up with telecom player Idea Cellular to offer its users of 3G and 4G internet packs a free monthly subscription with every recharge.
Under a promotional offer, all Idea customers in Idea 3G and 4G provider circles will be able to subscribe to dittoTV free-of-cost, along with select monthly data packs until July 31st this year, the release said.
"It will allow consumers to control where they watch television in a way that has not been possible before. We are proud to present a platform that will help scale up this transformation by making it affordable for people across a wide economic spectrum," Goenka added.
