Whirlpool of India dividend: Appliance maker announces Rs 5/ share dividend alongwith Q4 results
Its revenue from operations in the Indian unit of NYSE-listed Whirlpool Corp increased around 4 per cent to Rs 1,734 crore. Expenses surged 2.2 per cent, led by a nearly 31 per cent rise in input costs.
Appliance maker Whirlpool of India's board has approved a Rs 5 per share dividend today, May 20, according to a stock market disclosure.
"The Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held today have recommended Final Dividend of Rs 5.00 per equity share of the face value of Rs 10/- each 50 per cent for the financial year 2023-24," the company said in a BSE filing.
Whirlpool of India Q4 earnings
The company recorded its consolidated net profit of Rs 78 crore, rose nearly 24 per cent in the three months ended March 31. Its revenue from operations in the Indian unit of NYSE-listed Whirlpool Corp increased around 4 per cent to Rs 1,734 crore. Expenses surged 2.2 per cent, led by a nearly 31 per cent rise in input costs.
Meanwhile, shares of Whirlpool of India closed at Rs 1,577.3 each, up almost 1 per cent on Saturday, May 18 on BSE.
