Want to avail BSNL’s Family Plan of Rs 1199; Here’s how it works

The state-owned Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has on multiple occasion introduced various features in it’s ‘Family Plan’ of Rs 1199 per month. And once again to lure customers, BSNL has brought in new services which covers the entire requirement of an Indian family. Although the revised plan will still offer the same benefits. On it’s twitter handle, BSNL stated that, these plan covers requirement like mobile service, mobile data, mobile value added services, fixed telephony, fixed broadband connections and value added on fixed broadband also.

BSNL’s Family plan, available at Rs 1199 per month, will give a customer three sim cards with unlimited calling and 1GB data per sim, per day.

N.K. Mehta, Dir(CFA) of BSNL said, “This innovative family plan will help families to restrict their expenditure on telecom services and, at the same time, enjoy unlimited voice and data with excellent experience of value added services.”

A customer will also get one fixed telephone with unlimited calling and one landline broadband connection at a speed of 10 Mbps and data consumptions up to 30GB. However, once the 30GB data is consumed the speed of the internet will go down to 2 Mbps but data consumption will continue to be unlimited.

On one mobile sim card, a customer will receive unlimited songs and video. On another one, customer will get online education for one month.

Meanwhile, on landline broadband, a customer will get free songs, movies and videos.

This family plan is available in all 27 territorial telecom circles of BSNL with immediate effect from May 31 onward. For more details one can always dial a toll free number 1800-180-1500.
