Vodafone Idea and Bharti Airtel have balance dues under AGR to the tune of Rs 54,754 crore and Rs 25,976 crore respectively. In a written reply to a question in Rajya Sabha, Minister of State for Communications Sanjay Dhotre gave the break up of the AGR dues fixed by the Supreme Court and payments by the companies.

Dhotre said in the reply that the dues of Telecom companies have been determined by Supreme Court in its judgement dated July 20, 2020.

According to the breakup, the total demand on Bharti Airtel Group is Rs 43,980 crore and the self assessment amount is Rs 13,004 crore. An amount of Rs 18,004 crore has already been and the balance dues is Rs 25,976 crore.

For Vodafone Idea, the total demand of DoT is Rs 58,254 crore and the self assessment is Rs 21,533 crore. The amount paid is Rs 3500 crore and the balance dues is Rs 54,754 crore.

For the state owned, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), the amount due is Rs 5,835.85 crore and the entire amount is outstanding.

Similarly, another PSU, MTNL has dues of Rs 4,352.09 crore and the entire amount is yet to be paid, as per the details provided in Parliament.
