TVS Motor posts over 10% rise in sales in June on high two-wheeler sales
TVS Motor's total sales rose to 12% due to high sales of scooters and motorcycles during the month.

TVS Motor's total two-wheeler grew by 11.8% with sales increasing from 240,236 units in June 2016 to 268,638 units in June 2017. Domestic two-wheeler sales grew by 10.4% increasing from 207,012 units in June 2016 to 228,518 units in June 2017.
Scooter sales of the company grew by 33.8% from 67,590 units in June 2016 to 90,448 units in June 2017. Motorcycles grew by 17.4% from 95,542 units in June 2016 to 112,146 units in June 2017.
TVS Motor registered a total sales growth of 11% increasing from 2,47,364 units sold in June 2016 to 273,791 units sold in the month of June 2017.
The company's total exports grew by 13.3% from 39,163 units registered in the month of June 2016 to 44,389 units in June 2017. Two-wheeler exports grew by 20.8% increasing from 33,224 units in June 2016 to 40,120 units in June 2017.
Three-wheeler sales of the company saw a decline 38.3% as sales fell to 5,153 units in June 2017 as against 7,128 units recorded in June 2016.
TVS Motor during the first quarter of the current financial year saw its two-wheeler sales grow by 12% increasing from 7.01 lakh units in the first quarter of the previous year to 7.85 lakh units in the first quarter of the current year.
Sales of three-wheelers of the company remained at the same level as that of the corresponding quarter of the previous year at 0.17 lakh units.
