Trent redeems Rs 300 crore from non-convertible debentures
It said in a statement,Trent has redeemed 3000 rated lsisted unsecured redeemable NCDs at face value of Rs 10 lakhs each which was allotted on April 6, 2015 at par on due date i.e. September 20.”
Trent - the retail arm of Tata Group today, informed that it has redeemed 3000 rated listed non-convertible debentures (NCDs).
It said in a statement,Trent has redeemed 3000 rated lsisted unsecured redeemable NCDs at face value of Rs 10 lakhs each which was allotted on April 6, 2015 at par on due date i.e. September 20.”
Total amount of Rs 300 crore where redeemed from these NCDs.
The said NCDs were listed on the wholesale debt market segment on NSE exchange.
Further, it also certified that, Trent has made full and timely payment of principal along with interest upto date of redemption (i.e September 20) to the holders of the aforesaid debentures.
Recently, Tata Sons has decided to hike its stake in Trent to 27.74% by buying 3.87 lakh shares of Westside operator from one Af-Taab Investment company, a PTI report.
