Thums Up: Can Ranveer Singh stir up a toofan like Salman Khan?
It definitely looks like the brand wanted to try something different, something toofani in this ad film. But has it succeeded?
Coca-Cola has done something toofani by replacing Salman Khan with Ranveer Singh as the brand ambassador for Thums Up.
Thums Up released its first TV commercial featuring Ranveer Singh which looks like an ode to 'Fast and Furious 7' where Paul Walker's character Brian O'Conner defies death by jumping from a bus that was falling off a cliff.
In this ad, however, Ranveer Singh is running inside the bus saving a little girl while Walker was running on top of the bus.
The new ad film by Thums Up has been conceptualised by Leo Burnett and continues with the Toofani theme that it had since Salman Khan.
While the previous ad campaigns of Thums Up had approaches of going to great lengths for satiating a craving for Thums Up, with Ranveer Singh Thums Up has decided to change the narrative a bit.
It definitely looks like the brand wanted to try something different, something toofani in this ad film. But has it succeeded?
