TCS Interim Dividend: Tata Consultancy Services, India's largest IT company by market capitalisation, on Wednesday (October 11, 2023) announced an interim  dividend of 900 per cent. On a day when the company reported its second-quarter results for the period ending September 30, it also announced an interim dividend of Rs 9 per equity share of Rs 1 each.

TCS interim dividend ex-date and record date

TCS, which had announced the record of October 19 for the interim dividend, declared November 7 as the ex-date for the same.

"The second interim dividend shall be paid on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, to the equity shareholders of the Company, whose names appear on the Register of Members of the Company or in the records of the Depositories as beneficial owners of the shares as on Thursday, October 19, 2023, which is the Record Date fixed for the purpose," said TCS in a BSE filing on Wednesday. 

TCS Q2 results

TCS' net profit jumped 2.8 per cent at Rs 11,380 crore in Q2 FY24, up from Rs 10,465 in the year-ago period.

The company's consolidated income for the September quarter was at Rs 60,698 crore, up from Rs 56,274 crore in the same quarter last year.

The company's expenses also rose to Rs 45,368 from Rs 42,178 in the corresponding quarter last year.
