Tata Power, DGPC partner to set up 600 MW hydro project in Bhutan
Tata Power and Druk Green Power Corporation Ltd (DGPC) are collaborating on the Rs 6,900 crore Khorlochhu Hydropower Project in Bhutan. This 600 MW initiative, set to be built on the Kholongchhu river, aims to meet Bhutan's growing electricity needs and support India’s renewable energy goals. The project involves Tata Power's 40% equity investment and is expected to be completed in 5 years.
