The global wholesales of vehicles of Tata Motors Group have risen over 5% for September month.

Tata Motors Group global wholesales of vehicles including Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) during the month grew up by 5.34% to 102,289 units as against 97,102 units in the same month of last year, Tata Motors said in a filing to the BSE on Monday. 

Its cumulative global wholesales of vehicles for the fiscal year 2016-17 (FY17) surged up by 12.38% to 537,187 units as against 4,78,004 units in the fiscal year 2015-16 (FY16). 

The company's global wholesales of commercial vehicles and Tata Daewoo range during the period increased by 1.85% to 34,394 units as compared to 33,768 units in the corresponding period of previous year, it said. 

The global wholesales of its passenger vehicles during the month rose up by 7.20% to 67,895 units as against 63,334 units in the similar period of last year. 

Its Jaguar Land Rover's (JLR) global wholesales during the period grew up by 97.43% to 16,211 units as compared to  8,211 units in the same period last year. 

The global wholesales for Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) vehicles (including CJLR*wholesales of 6,539) during the month grew up by 3.6% to 52,914 units as compared to 51,074 units (including CJLR* wholesales) in the same month of last year, cited the statement. 

However, the global wholesales of its Land Rover vehicles during the month declined by 14.37% to 36,703 units as against 42,863 units in the corresponding period of previous year. 

At 14:57 hours, the stock of Tata Motors was trading down 0.31% or Rs 1.75% at Rs 563.95 on the stock exchange.
