Maruti Suzuki - India's largest vehicle maker, launched its first Light Commercial Vehicle - Super Carry in Gujarat.

LCV Super Carry will be priced at Rs 4.03 lakh and will be available in two colours - superior white and silky silver. 

The new Super Carry is equipped with a powerful 793 cc diesel engine and delivers a mileage of 22.07 Km per litre. It also comes with a superior loading capacity of 740 kgs and a loading deck of 3.25 square meter. 

CV Raman Executive Director of Maruti said," Super Carry is a result of our extensive research of the light commmercial vehicle market. It addresses the need of power, stability, ride & handling and fuel efficiency. With shorter turnaround time, more trips and more savings Super Carry is an ideal product for the LCV customers." 

With this launch, Maruti plans to expand its commercial channel to 50 outlets by the end of the year. 

RS Kalsi, Executive Director of Maruti said," The company has changed the way India drives, similarly Super Carry will bring in a revolution in the LCV segment, Out target is to reach out to more customers, for this we plan to set up 50 showrooms across five states. " 

The company has invested about Rs 300 crores towards the development of the new Super Carry. 

Super Carry is expected to compete against Tata Motor's Ace.
