SRCC Business Conclave: An insight into Asia's largest management fest at undergraduate level

The Business Conclave is Asia’s largest management fest at the undergraduate level conducted by the Shri Ram College of Commerce every year.  

Shri Ram College of Commerce, founded in 1926, has grown over the years to become an elite institution in business and economics education in the country. It is one of the most sought-after colleges in India and teaches the nation’s best students in its classrooms. 

SRCC Business Conclave is the annual business event with an unparalleled capability of attracting a Pan-India audience in a bid to promote the big Indian dream. The event aims to provide students with meaningful sessions and events to help the student community become better suited to address the issues of tomorrow, and transform them into next generation leaders that the country needs. 

The 2022 edition of the conclave was conducted on the 29th and 30th of April 2022, and was sponsored by the DS Group, co-sponsored by PlayerzPot, associate sponsor GAIL and powered by Josh. The event revolved around the theme ‘Ideas to Action’ in lieu of the ongoing global situation, where the innovative ideas and its effective implementation are the need of the hour. This year as well, the conclave had an incredible line of speakers to impart knowledge as well as artists and musicians to provide attendees with an all-round experience of learning with fun.

This year the conclave was graced by the likes of Mr Gopichand Hinduja, Mr Ashok Khemka, Mr
Manu S Pillai, Guru HH Gopal Krishna, Mr Jehan Daruvala, Mr Siddharth Menon, Mr Mukul Agarwal, to name a few.

The women’s panel discussion revolved around the theme of #breakingthebias with stalwarts in their respective field including Supriya Paul, RJ Ginnie and Major Priya Jhingan, who motivated all the attendees to make their mark irrespective of certain barriers. Furthermore, the conclave was also graced by top sportsmen including Mr Deepender Singh, Mr JP Nautiyal, Mr Swaroop Unhalkar, Mr Singhraj Adhana and Mr Manish Narwal in the Paralympian panel promoting inclusion and talking about their life journey.

The E-sports panel consisted of Naman Mathur and Animesh Agarwal which was a treat for all gaming fans. Furthermore, the automobile, unicorn and start-up panels including personalities like Santosh Iyer, Vinkesh Gulati, Varun Khaitan, Harsimarbir Singh, Gautam R. Anand, Sunil Yadav, to name a few also shared their insights which were truly enlightening. To finish the evening, we had Karunesh Talwar and Mr Gajendra Verma helping all attendees unwind by cracking amazing jokes and singing the best tunes. Overall, it was a fest to remember and definitely one to beat.
