SpiceJet's landing gear gets overheated at Amritsar airport, passengers deplaned safely
All the passengers were deplaned safely, said the company in a statement.
SpiceJet has confirmed that no incident of fire or tyre burst took place in flight SG2515 from Delhi to Amritsar in the evening.
On Thursday, SpiceJet aircraft carrying 75 passengers onboard while landing at Amritsar airport at 6:15 pm, caught smoke after the right landing gear got overheated.
However, all the passengers were deplaned safely, said the company in a statement.
"Engineer on the ground saw smoke coming out from the right landing gear. Taking a precautionary measure he used fire extinguisher on over heated landing gear", said the company.
