According to an exchange filing, the project falls under the "MAKE-II" and IDDM (Indian Design, Development, and Manufacturing) initiatives, aimed at boosting indigenous design and manufacturing capabilities within India’s defence sector.

“We are pleased to inform all the stakeholders that Scanpoint Geomatics Limited (the Company) has successfully achieved a significant milestone by being shortlisted for a prestigious project of the Indian armed forces, specifically under the ‘MAKE - II’ and IDDM (Indian Design Development and Manufacturing) initiatives,” Scanpoint Geomatics said in a BSE filing on September 30.

Scanpoint Geomatics, founded in 1992, has been developing GIS-based software. Its flagship product, IGiS, is a comprehensive geospatial platform that combines GIS, image processing, photogrammetry, and CAD to allow users to quickly manage and analyze geographic data.
