FMCG company Sarveshwar Foods has announced its financial results for the fourth quarter of the financial year 2024. According to an exchange filing, the company's net profit surged to Rs 4.14 crore in the quarter ended March 2024. This is a surge of around 128.73 per cent when compared to the net profit of Rs 1.81 crore in the same quarter of last financial year.

The company's revenue from operations rose 90.52 per cent to Rs 247.32 crore in the Q4 as against Rs 129.81 crore during the same quarter that ended March 2023.

For the full year, net profit rose 115.15 per cent to Rs 16.76 crore in the year ended March 2024 as against Rs 7.79 crore during the same quarter of 2023. Sales rose 26.15 per cent to Rs 869.59 crore in the year ended March 2024 as against Rs 689.32 crore during the previous year ended March 2023.

Earlier, the company announced that it had won a Rs 50 crore bid to export white rice to Africa. According to an exchange filing, the order to supply 90,000 quintals of premium rice has been awarded by the government’s nodal agency National Agricultural Cooperative Marketing Federation of India Ltd.(NAFED).

NAFED is an apex government organization of marketing cooperatives for agricultural produce in India.
