Royal Enfield sales rise 42% in April

Royal Enfield, a Eicher Motors Group company, has recorded 42% rise in its total sales at 48,197 units in April. 

The niche bike manufacturer sold 33,918 units during the same month last year, a company statement said. Domestic sales in April 2016 grew by 42% to 47,037 units, from 33,118 units sold during same month of last year.

On exports front, the company witnessed 45% increase last month to 1,160 units, from 800 units sold in April 2015.
