Stand-in Team India skipper Rohit Sharma has been appointed as the brand ambassador of global sports brand Trusox. The brand claims to revolutise the sports socks segment by introducing performance enhancing grip socks - they maximise the grip sportspeople get inside their footwear. An innovation by Jim Cherneski, a former footballer, coach and innovator of the Trusox technology, the brand is used by over 45 per cent of the English Premier League soccer players. It is also used by other athletes from cricket, rugby, running and cycling. Internationally, Trusox sells out of 1000 stores. In India, Trusox is available on Amazon and Trusox.in. The brand is associated with top football players like Real Madrid's Gareth Bale, Manchester City's Raheem Sterling and Barcelona's Luis Suarez, among others.
