India’s largest telephone operator, Bharti Airtel has tweaked its Rs 59 plan to include more benefits. The plan now included more benefits on roaming and higher data offering as well.

The Rs 59 plan by Airtel reportedly offers unlimited voice calls including roaming voice calls and 500MB of data for 7 days.

A TelecomTalk report said that Airtel was offering the same prepaid plan in different cities for Rs 59.

The open market Rs 59 tariff plan in other circles offers unlimited local and STD calls along with roaming voice calls, 100 SMS per day, and 500MB for seven days from the date of recharge.

The cheapest plan offered by Reliance Jio is the Rs 19 plan. This offers subscribers 0.15GB data for a day.

Jio’s Rs 52 plan offers prepaid Prime customers 1.05GB data along with unlimited voice calls and SMS.

The FUP on the plan was capped at 0.15GB per day.

However, this plan has a validity of just seven days unlike Airtel’s 27 days validity.

Bharti Airtel’s Rs 549 plan, which is open to all prepaid customers, will now offer 84GB data per day.

This serving of data comes at the side of free local and STD calls even on roaming and local and national SMS.

Airtel’s Rs 509 plan, which competes directly with Jio’s plan, offers 91GB in total. The FUP on the plan is capped at 1GB per day for 91 days along with the other benefits of calling and SMS.
