RJio free data effect: BSNL brings internet rates to Rs 36 per GB

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) on Monday said that the company will offer 1GB data at Rs 36 to counter aggressive offerings by telecom companies like Reliance Jio. 

In this offer, customers will get 8 GB for Rs 291 plan with a validity of 28 days as against 2 GB provided earlier. 

Reliance Jio offers free 4G service till March 31, 2017. 

Under Jio's offer, customers are enjoying 1 GB of 4G mobile broadband everyday and unlimited internet at reduced speeds after exhaustion of this 1 GB data.
