The strategic response management (SRM) market is experiencing robust growth and is projected to be $ 2274 crores by 2028. As companies are increasingly adopting SRM solutions, Responsive - a leading player in the category - is planning expansion in India. The company, founded in 2016, has opened its new office in Coimbatore, India. According to the top brass of the SaaS (software as a service) platform, they are also planning expansion in Bangalore and Chennai in the next 12-18 months.

Responsive, which was earlier known as RFPIO, originally established its product development operations in Coimbatore, India. Since then, the company has built the majority of its product team in India while also adding other team members in sales, marketing, customer success, professional services, finance and beyond. 

Founded in early 2015 by Ganesh Shankar, AJ Sunder and Sankar Lagudu, Responsive now has nearly 2,000 customers including 20 per cent of the Fortune 100 and more than 4,00,000 users. Microsoft, Genpact and Elmo are some of the prominent clients of the company. 

According to Ganesh Shankar, CEO, Responsive, the need for the new space stemmed from the company's rapid growth as the market leader in strategic response management. The new space will accommodate nearly double the number of employees of the previous India office.
 
“Our growth in Coimbatore is reflective of Responsive’s evolution and progress toward realizing our ambition to transform how global organizations share and exchange information,” said Ganesh Shankar.

According to the company they have around 250 employees at the moment and the strength is expected to grow up to 1,000 in the next 24 months. 

Over the years, the company has also launched multiple AI-driven products to extend market-leading AI capabilities.
