Renault Nissan Automotive India (RNAIPL) on Saturday said production will remain suspended at its car manufacturing plant in Oragadam here for a week starting May 22 for annual maintenance.
The plant, set up with an investment of Rs.45 billion over seven years with an annual capacity to produce 480,000 units, is closed twice a year for repairs and maintenance in May and December.
The plant reached a production milestone of one million cars at the beginning of this year.
