French carmaker Renault has said on Sunday that it expects to resume normal production in the factories on Monday that were hit by a global cyber attack.

French carmaker Renault expects to be able to resume normal production on Monday in the factories that were hit by a global cyber attack, a spokesman said.

"Nearly all plants should be able to resume their activity tomorrow," the spokesman said on Sunday.
Renault said on Saturday that it had stopped production at several sites to prevent the spread of a global cyber attack that hit its computer systems the previous day.
