Reliance Jio vs Vodafone plans:  A war for cheap data plan has emerged between Reliance Jio and Vodafone India, as both are offering unlimited internet to their prepaid customers. Where Vodafone has rolled out a Rs 21 recharge plan, Reliance Jio has once again stirred the competition by launching even more affordable pack at Rs 19. This would not be the first time, that RJio has reacted by rolling out even more cheaper recharge plans. Since the time it entered the telecom market, RJio has been known for doling out cheap data, unlimited calls and unlimited internet, which has made it difficult for incumbent operators like Vodafone, Bharti Airtel and Idea Cellular to stay float in the market, as their earning has been impacted by such moves.

Reliance Jio vs Vodafone plans: Let's have a look at the recharge packs that both are offering. 

Under Vodafone's Rs 21 recharge plan - a customer will get unlimited 4G/3G data for 1 hour. The validity period is for one day. Within one hour's time, a customer can use any amount of data, and enjoy downloading movies, songs or anything as per their desires. 

It needs to be noted that, Vodafone has also launched a "Super Hour" recharge plan, where a customer can avail unlimited data by just Rs 16. 

On the other hand, Reliance is offering 0.15 GB data in 4G/3G services for a validity of 1 day at their recharge plan of Rs 19. Not only this, RJio is also offering unlimited voice calls and 20 sms.

There are also complimentary subscription offered for customers using Jio apps. 

Also it needs to be noted that RJio's average 4G download speed is much higher compared to rivals like Airtel, Vodafone and Idea.
