Reliance Jio pushes for Jio Prime with buy one get one free offer; here’s what it is
With another push for Jio Prime the Mukesh Ambani led telecom – Reliance Jio announced its ‘buy one get one free offer’ on Friday.
Under the offer if users recharge before March 31 they will get ‘add-on’ benefits to the existing recharge schemes that were unveiled on February 28.
The scheme unveiled two offers, the first being if you recharge with Rs 303 then you get a free add-on of Rs 201 which gives you 5GB free data to the existing 28GB that comes with the 303 plan.
Secondly the company said if you recharge with any plan of Rs 499 and above you will get a free add-on of Rs 301 which gives you 10GB free data.
For a Jio Prime membership the customers would have to make a onetime payment of Rs 99 that allows the users to continue with the ‘Happy New Year’ benefits till March 2018.
While voice calling remains free for all users of RJio, under its flagship plan of Rs 303 unveiled by MD Reliance Industries Ltd, Mukesh Ambani on February 21 its ‘non-Prime’ users would get only 2.5GB for a period of 28 days.
The non-Prime members would get a third of total data offered to its Prime members.

For Rs 499, the Jio Prime members would get unlimited voice calling – local, STD and roaming to all operators for a period of 28 days. Under this plan the data offered at 4G speed for the month was capped at 56GB.
If you are not a Jio Prime member, for the same plan besides getting unlimited calling and (which is free for all Jio users) you would get only 5GB data at 4G speed for a period of 28 days along with unlimited SMSes.
The data would also be capped at 2GB per day.
The plans for RJio begin from Rs 19 and go up to Rs 9,999 offering data of 100-200 MB till 750GB.
“Benefit of the free add-on will be given automatically by Jio,” the company said.
